Now I'm not sure exactly where to put this, as it is a review.

I finally ordered a Hobby Engine M1A1 Abrams. Trying to stay away from $150 + for the tank alone after a few hours of Google search I did find an American retailer advertising the Abrams for 101.99 (Spring Sale! Regular $125) It looks like a Chinglish website kind of like Banana Hobby "we're the world's best hobby store!"

Bill came up to $145.53 with a 5% online coupon code (google'd) and $48 shipping (oversized box)

It was said to be shipped 3-5 days after payment recieved (PayPal) and was not received until I sent a not so nice email as to "whiskey tango foxtrot" was up with the now 4-6 week clearing. It turned out that the owner did not want to put an out of stock on the website as he was expecting a shipment the week after I ordered it. It was stuck at customs and the owner called me about the situation when it was finally shipped today. (May 22) Order was placed May 1st.

Overall the prices are nice and the owner was nice enough to explain the hold up over the phone. Now to see how the box arrives. tongue

Monk, Did you figure out where they shipped it from?
If they shipped it from Mainland China or HK,
you may need to wait another 3 weeks to get it...
