I will be watching the weather closely, hoping our recent good weather continues.

Updates will be issued.

I will be there, but will not be able to participate in setup/take down, or in many of the battles since I have to stay off my feet as much as I can.

As I mentioned on an earlier thread, an MRI on my right knee has shown I have a compound tear of the lateral meniscus and osteoarthritis.  lifting, and standing/walking for extended periods create problems for me right now.

Conditions are looking good for the meet, this Saturday.

We have had rain, yesterday and today but the forecast for the next few days into Sat. are for dry weather, for this area.

Also, the ground has dried up well through June and so the rain from the last 48 hours will not have any detrimental effects on ground conditions.

So far, it looks like we are good to go.

Sad  Sorry guys, I'm going to have to miss this battleday.

I'm fling out to east coast this Monday and just have too much do. I will be back for the August one.

Hope you have a great day, and don't forget to take some pictures.  Very Happy

Please keep in mind that lunch is a "Pot luck" style.  If everyone brings a little, everyone shares.  It should not be left up to a few people each month.  Let's all pitch in.

I am expecting a small turn out today.

Will be leaving shortly to open up.

Since I am not able to help much with set up/take down due to my knee problem, I am proposing just setting the trees, today.
