Yeah, IMHO, it will be shutdown for a while and anyone who plans to travel this route should keep checking up on it.

http://www.niagarathisweek.com/news-story/4730583-live-truck-crash-closes-burlington-skyway-traffic-chaos-on-afternoon-commute/

The temporary work scaffolding was damaged but the most significant thing is the damage to several of the structuals in the bridge truss in the centre span. Check out the aerial pictures in that link.  Shocked

I expect they will inspect and assess how badly the structure is compromised.

Then there will have to be a plan prepared to safety repair it.

The materials will have to be procured and prepared and the actual work done.

I expect this time could be measured in days, or weeks  Sad

I had an old boss who used to drive truck for Chryslar. He ended up wedging the semi half way in the Detriot-Windsor tunnel and the moron was proud of that accomplishment.  Rolling Eyes

I will be there for the 16th, ready to go, so if anyone in the Windsor area wants a ride down let me know.

Not many outside battles left, and we can't count on good weather for October and November .

FYI just the Toronto bound lanes are closed, getting TO tanks from toronto-area isn't a problem... and getting back in the evening on a Saturday won't take too much longer Wink

Do any of the powers that be object to posting a batteday invite on the RCU forums?

I think the more exposure we get the better, even with the couple weirdos who hang out there Wink

What, and you don't think we have our fair share of weirdos all ready???

We are a bunch of adults playing with toy tanks and pretending to battle. doesn't that say enough? Razz  Razz  Razz
Anyway I will be there on the 16th I am saving ribs and coleslaw for Sept. meet so will bring something else.

Dunno if we can allow you to come without Norma.

It's just wrong.  It would be like Starsky without Hutch, Batman without Robin, Hitler without Churchill,  I dunno...just ain't right.

Ok, well, maybe just this once... Very Happy

I expect to be there with hot dogs and condiments.
I should be able to do the first grass cut on Wednesday if weather OK.
Is this the official list for tank day, if so I encourage everyone to advise YES or NO for attendance.
Hey Captain Action I need your attendance come on down and play with us.
Is Curtis coming ?

Yes I am coming
I have the new Taigen King Tiger to show off although I didn't keep it stock  Shocked  as if I would lol
Plus the Jagdpanzer I have been working on is almost finished, I am just weathering it now.
Too bad I have just the lower finished on my secret project, Any WOT fan will love this baby when I get it completed.

I am coming to play as well so if anybody wants anything speak up before the play date. I don't feel like hauling a truck load of stuff.
