IMO the Centurion would be an awesome production R/c tank for a few reasons, but mainly because it'd be relatively simple to mold & produce Heng Long style & it has a long history of combat and variations. It's almost as bad (good?) as a Sherman for variants!

I swear I replied to this... meh oh well.
The Centurion has a few things going for it in 1/16 R/c... but the most important are that there are TONS of variants over a long time scale & several conflicts you can build for... also, it's a good standard design with nice big road wheels; easy to mold for the designers @ Heng Long hull, turret and suspension wise!
