Hull modified for SLU component installation Converted from airsoft to recoil IR Emitter tube fitted to the mantlet Major components painted in the base coat Tacks prep'ed for painting
This one will be a late 1944/1945 MHN colour scheme; green base with very thin diagonal yellow stripes, markings by Airbrusher's stencils
It will have Mato 3:1's
Next item of business is to paint the wheels. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Gle,
I think I know what colour scheme you are talking about but, I could not find a picture of it. Do you have one you can post, also what does "MHN" stand for?

| I haven't figured out how to post pictures here The form won't let me post a link to it, either. I have two B&W historic photos of thes to go off of, Airbrusher made me up some stncils base on the photos. I had the letters out of order, they should be NMH MASCHINENFABRIK NIEDERSACHSEN-HANNOVER _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Sort of, the late MNH Panther was green with very narrow, single, slightly angled yellow strips.
The actual photos I have from the time they were made lead me to believe that paint was in short supply, I am assuming they had mostly green on hand and yellow was very limited. The yellow stripes were only on the vertical surfaces and were not even on the top of the hull or top of the turret. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Its coming along pretty well.
I have not had many long stretches of time to work on it but it will be ready for the may meet.
Hull and turret etc. painting is all done.
Tracks are finished.
Stencilling will be completed tonight.
Clear coating will be done this weekend.
After that, the SLU and motors go in and the tools and accessories get painted. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| The Panther was airsoft so I bought an HL recoil unit and flash. I didn't modify it, except to adapt it to the Panther's gun elevation system.
The stencils are done, as usual with Airbrusher's stencils, they were easy to apply, look good when done and have the durability of painted markings, there's nothing not to like about them.
I have some other "distractions" this weekend but will get some more things done on it. I doubt it will be ready for the April 14th meet but will be introduced at the May meet. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I am not able to post pictures in the messages on this forum I am waiting for good light conditions outside, today to take a few pictures, then I will post them in the Gallery section. The stencilled markings came out prefect, they look exactly like the 1945 vintage photograph _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Update, went through an outdoor "shake down run" this aft. The combination of the SLU and 3:1's make for a great "runner". Lots of power and control, slow speed, static turns on grass are not a problem. It handles various terrain quite well. I am quite pleased with the way it operates. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."
