PostSubject: Immortal Hobbies SITE IS NOW LIVE   Sun Sep 14, 2014 6:27 pm

for all those that have sent me an e-mail, yes my site is down. ( Store is up and running at http://immortalhobbies.com ) I have elected to move my site and contents to a new provider that offers a few more gizmos and gadgets to make things easier and better for not just me but hopefully you the customer.
It shouldn't be down much longer but It is a huge job.
Greatest thing is I will have an FTP site so all my pics and files, videos will be there to share ( I plan on posting a host of how to pages ). Closer ties to shipping for better tracking and a better inventory management system for me. Plus I will be accepting all credit cards
which I currently don't do.
These are only a few of the benefits. Been at my computer for 18 hours so far and I am plugging away. Thanks for the support and I will be up and running shortly

Strato if I ever get there I hope the site has dramatic changes. First off will be an FTP site so I can share files, currently can't do it.
Next I will be integrated with Canada Post so freight should change, not only faster but better all around.
The whole look will be new as well. This is a big change, everything is migrated just testing and tweaking things now.

I sacrificed the How To section to make sure everything else is working. Even the Clark ones are not complete just yet. It is coming though.
Just so happy I have gotten this far

Is it possible to stick in a customer product review section? I'd fill out tons of those.

Yes, it does look good.

I do find it easy and quick to navigate, too.

I have an FTP site with this so yes you will be able to do articles for a product review section and you can also upload pictures to the Gallery as soon as I get the permission portion completed. I just need to figure out how to do it lol.
I'll get a page loaded today, could you e-mail me a review in the mean time?

A few questions about the KT

http://immortalhobbies.com/immortal-store.php#!/Taigen-King-Tiger-Metal-version/p/41516572/category=10646607

Hopefully these are not on the site and I am just missing them, could happen Embarassed Laughing

This sounds like it has some similarities to the Taigen Tiger I, do these include;

- Torsion Bar Suspension

- Track Tensioners

Other items;

- Does the IR version have recoil (not a deal breaker for me if it doesn't, just curious)

- 4:1 steel gearboxes, sounds like a nice feature (this sounds like it already has an upgrade that I always do, anyway, already done) are there any pictures of them?

- Plastic tracks? (OK with me if it does)

Glen,

The KT has torsion bar suspension and track tensioner built-in to the lower hull. It has the same Taigen metal KT lower hull that you can get separately if you want to upgrade your existing HL/Matarro KT. It also come with a quick release mechanism as well that will work with your HL KT. I fitted it to my Matarro KT but have to custom mount the quick release catches.

Mike.

Mike.

Those are interesting features, the torsion bars work quite well on the Tiger I

The track tensioners are a great feature, I have put tensioners on my HL KT, as anextra cost item, it is great that they are already on this one. I like them on my Tiger I's

Same for the quick release.

Glen,   This is the basicly the same as the Tiger 1 metal BUT there is nothing to upgrade. Asiatam style recoil. ytack tensioners and torsion bars. IR version comes painted as a dessert tan kind of color which actually makes a great base if you want to custom paint.
All the hatches open and close and the tracks on the turret and axe, shovel etc are all metal.
Not sure if you saw my green KT at the last battleday I was at but that was the Metal version.

Thanks.

Wow, thats a lot of stuff on that KT, it is very well equipped. Very Happy

So, basically, you'd just have to add electronics, paint, markings/weathering but thats it.

Site has been flipped to Canadian dollars now and when you check out you can now choose from express post all the way down to regular parcel. You are in control of any shipping costs.

By the way there are 75 languages set up as well. The site now runs off your default language.
