Saturday, October 18th, 2014

Could be the last outdoor one for the year so don't miss it!

Set up begins at 9:00am. Last salvo is fired at 4:00pm

Cam Am Tank Club BattleDay Schedule
9:00 - 9:30 set up
9:45 - 10:15 1st battle
10:30 - 11:00 2nd battle
11:15 - 11:45 3rd battle

1 hour Lunch time - Social

12:45 - 1:15 4th Battle
1:30 - 2:00 5th Battle
2:15 - 2:45 6th battle
3:00 - 3:30 7th battle
3:45 - 4:15 8th battle - final battle of the day
Clean up - 4:15

Montana's lock the doors when they see me coming on their all you can eat rib night!
I'll bring enough that hopefully everybody will get a taste. Just make sure you don't get rib sauce on your tanks! Razz

Hach, if you get it before the next battle day I can help out. I am in Toronto. Are you in Brampton ? We can meet up somewhere in between. If not I am sure we can set-up it on the day of the battle day.

Glen, I missed the last battle day but my Leo is now fully decked out with Clark Tk-22 and also the FPV camera/radio from Curtis. I am hoping to have the turret locking set-up (Geko from RC Aussie) set-up for it on the next battle day.

I have seen it first hand, very cool. May be the way of the future. It sure would make battling more realistic if there is such a thing. Imagine sitting with your back to the field driving around not being able to see who is pounding your butt and searching for targets only by the screen!

Hello Mike.
All parts: Clark Tk-22L2 module, Mato transmitter, receiver come from Australia. It take 7 to 10 working days to get them.

Hach,

Did you get it from Tank Army or RCTA ? It probably won't get here until battle day anyway and if you are going then everyone can help you out. If not we can work something out afterwards. Can you send me the link of the Mato transmitter ? I didn't think you can use Clark with Mato radios.

Just for future reference, it will be faster to get Clark boards from Immortal Hobbies here. They are based in Barrie and can usually get it in the post for you in couple of days.

Oh okay. Just a regular 6 channel. No biggie although I have never seen that before. Does you Leo current has IR already or is it a BB model ? Most of the wiring are plug and play but if it is BB then you will need to do some soldering beforehand.

Wayne, thanks for the heads up, I plan to take a half vacation day on Friday aft. to cut (gets dark too early after work, now), if I take it easy, I can get it done.
