I was a little bored at work, so I thought I would work out the numbers for the last 4 years of traveling to tanking events.

My first battleday was July 2011 and up to last one in October. I have been to at least to 24 events (that I can recall), this includes two indoor battles in Kitchener and the trip to Oshawa.

In this time I have logged about 160 hours of driving time, for a total of 18,520 kms. (approximately)

With the cost in gas and other traveling expense I could of easily of brought 3 Tamiyas.

Just thinking of all that driving now makes me tired! Sleep
But I have enjoyed every event I've been to, so I guess it makes it worth it. thumbs up

...you're a trooper!! It's obvious you will probably beat everyone in time and hours but I still don't want to look at my own Razz

Still cars like highway miles.. think about how happy it is Razz lol

18km's in 4 years? That's it? LOL! I appreciate everytime you come Derek as you are always the furthest away with the longest drive outside of our new friend from Kingston. Believe me, if you organize something in Windsor I will try my hardest to reciprocate the effort.

I once ran 4 liquidation stores. Barrie,Oakville,Cambridge and Kitchener. Had a brand new minivan basically travelling between stores delivering things, checking on staff, etc... Totaled it one afternoon. When I made the insurance claim the van was 18 months old with 242,000 kms on it.

Imagine what the driving will be for us if they add a battlefield to that museum just a little south of you!

I think what is most surprising is that I've never had any problems in my travels, other then a small delay coming home from Kitchener last year.

Of course I've probably cursed myself now. pale
