T-34 would still have to get pretty close to penetrate the 100mm of frontal armour and 120mm mantel armour.

Also dont forget this a pro-Russian film. Wink

Are you asking about the side of the turrets? If yes, then they were 80mm thick. study

A hit to the turret could cause the ammo to go off and cause the engine and fuel to ignite.

It would be the opposite of one of the theories of what happen to Whitmann.
One theory is that his tank got hit in the engine, causing the ammo to ignite and blowing the turret off.

Took my oldest daughter Go-Karting for the first time to night.
She had a great time, but I had a BLAST!!!!! Very Happy:D:D
