| From now on, every purchase of Clark board must be accompanied with a big pinup. By the way, where do you buy this boards and who makes them? |

| kaptain Jack, there are various distributors including Clark themselves. It is Taiwan based and it is one of the lower cost alternative to the standard HL/Taigen electronics. The main thing is that it will allow you to use hobby grade radio for your HL/Taigen 1/16 tanks with additional features like sound and servo control. |

| Don't know about SLU since I don't own any. Glen might be a better person to speak to that as he has both. I have always been Clark since I start playing with Hobby grade electronics. It is about $100USD each. I would say that most club members are on Clark if they are not Tamiya's. |

| I like a lot of things about the SLU's however, as with anything, there is a down side. It is a large unit, OK for Tigers, not bad in the Panther. Guys have put them in even Pz III's but that is a challenge. The other thing, mine are going on 3 to 4 years old and have developed some "senility" i.e. can't trim them to run straight at all speeds. This last one is a problem especially because there is no active sales/support in North America as far as I know, right now. And then there's the young lady, sad to say, I own, and still wear some boots that are older than her _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| kaptain Jack, Immortal Hobbies has been instrumental in the popularity of Clark boards in the club, but there has been issues raise from various corners on the response time since the new year. I know Curtis (Immortal Hobbies) personally so I am probably not the best person to make a recommendation. Other members has ordered and received Clark board from OzArmour from Australia and there is also a supplier in Vancouver, but he is more expensive than Immortal and OzArmour.
I usually have some used ones lying around if you are interested in trying it out we can do a swap or work a deal.
