| For the guys that prep the field and reserve the hall, if you could let them know if you are up for a battleday this month, it would be appreciated so they could make arrangements. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| This month will be too difficult for me to get out, too much going on at home. But I will be rooting for you guys. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

Thanks, this is critical for us, given the short notice. The weather, so far, is looking OK for Sat. but not for field prep on Thurs. or Fri. We can usually get the hall but it is not a given and I will need to ask about it, soon. I know the hall is a bit confined and that may be a deciding point for some, and that's OK, but we need to know what the genral consensus is. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

I should be able to attend, but I am not sure how long I can stay nor what I can bring. I am improving but there are a lot of issues to deal with. I am in my 7th week but 4 months seems to be the magical time required to get a handle on my recovery.Wayne |

| Glad to hear you are coming along Wayne and you know we will always help unload and load what ever you need. I think the field will just need a trim but trying to do it prior to Sat. I can see will be tough with the forecast and with the early darkness. I am willing to bring my mower Sat. morning to do a trim. And I don't even really care if it is indoors and we just fool around like last time.
Lets keep a watch further on the weather in case it speeds up or stalls. Pity it couldn't be like these 2 days! _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

I would really appreciate that, with the way things are going I might have difficulty getting away during the week to cut the grass, and then there's the weather...... _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| UPDATE
The indoor venue is not available for this weekend so it would have to be an outdoor event if it were to be on the 7th (weather permitting)/ _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Looks like it will all work out now. They are only calling for rain in Ft. Erie for early Friday morning and then no rain for the rest of the day windy but no rain which means the field will dry so I can cut Sat. and no rain Sat. I will bring some food... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| This is another tough call.
Environment Canada says things will be OK on Sat.
The other site that I have found to be accurate says;
Saturday A slight chance of showers before 1pm, then a chance of showers after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 51. West wind 11 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
That's not a lot of rain but we don't have the indoor option this time. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Well, if people want to go ahead and the field prep is done Sat. morning.
We could try it if everyone is willing. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Stinger and I have had one of our weather discussion and are calling Nov. 7th off.
We have had sufficient rain in the past 12 hours, here, to the point where it will not dry out enough in the next 24 hours to use the field. (Some of us may recall the condition of the field in Sept., 2014)
I am sorry for any disappointment this may cause, with a late cancellation, but we have had a tough go with the weather and forecasts this fall. I don't want to have people travel to be on a swampy field.
We can certainly look at another week, or look forward to the first Kitchener indoor event, which ever the group would prefer. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I understand.... sigh.... I will have to eat my chilli all by myself now.... It was a bitch to cut that field in Sept.! I think that will pretty much be it for down there outdoors for sure. I will start making inquires for a Dec. get together at the Rod and Gun shortly... Again, thanks for all the hard work this year down there guys. I personally really appreciate it and the first cold one is on me at the Dec. get together...
