hey guys am working with mike on this too but figured I would ask, maybe some one knows off hand...
few months ago I dropped me KT Crying or Very sad  and broke a link... now got that fixed (thanks mike) went to drive it and boom, will only turn left or right... if you push up or down it makes the sound but no go....  now this thing has been a lemon since I got it. I got it from rc-dynacy off ebay and it came with the gun riser broke, so re glued it, and it broke again, re glued it ect  then it would get random spins so you would be turning right or left then let go and thing would be like a tornado spin and spin then stop....

I took the board out of my t34 (2.4) and plugged it to the KT motors did the same just right / left...  I'm at a los, even sitting it will beep like its having a impute from the controller but I'm not, and the controller trims are not off.. as it will do this with the t34 board and the t34s controller

Are you using a stock henglong radio ? If so there's a couple things you can check , I'm sure Mike told you this already , I assume your running a rx18 board , does it have a internal receiver or external , with an antenna ? If you just changed the board only with an external board , problem could be in receiver if problem occurred when you dropped it, might have slight crack in it , if you still had screwed into lower chassis, also poor connection at 3 wire plug end into board can cause this , onto to the radio , your right controller has 2 reostats on each side of right hand stick , after taking back cover off , you will see them , check the metal contact sliders for contact , dirty etc , sometimes they metal slider will break off plastic end of your stick movement, then will stay in one spot until you jiggle it , then it will go into its normal spot until you move it again , just check everything inside carefully, I've ran into all these problems so far , and managed to fix most of my wonky tanks by checking these things , hope this helps

hey jug I will look into what you said above and the KT is a 27mhz that has a crystal and anntenn going top side but like I said I too the wires from its motor and put into my t34's board and used the t34's controller and it had same problem, so I don't think its the remote itself,        maybe something to do with my mako board from the hit

Any reason why you wouldn't buy the Matomart one? And then the Mato steel upgrade?

Zinc Gear w/ both metal and plastic tracks, sprockets, and idlers - 188.10
Mato Steel Gearbox - 95.20

283.30 - 5% discount + 13% = 304.12 + shipping. More than $269.99, But you get the extra zinc gearbox and another set of tracks/to abuse/sell.
