| I read there will be some work done to refine them a bit, but IMHO, they worked out very well at the meet. Sure made it easy to divide up teams, doesn't matter what everyone chooses to run when you use the flag system Works well for the Poker Chip Round, too. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| They worked great all day long , don't know how we did without them , they are basically needed for every battle game |

| It was cool & I'm also pretty happy they worked better than intended. If you guys want I can get the ball rolling on a group magnet buy, like 200 at least, so everyone can affix a more attractive *giggle* means of fixture at their leisure if you want _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| I totally agree. Made things much easier. _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| Thanks for the feedback guys. It was an idea I was kicking around for a while and I think better flags will open up better game play in the future. - Strato50 wrote:

Hey Jordan, me and Russell were talking about after you left on Saturday, that some circular magnets might make it easier to mount flags to and maybe the hulls. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| The idea will be to put the hull magnet on the inside of the hull correct? If you put a thin piece of felt or fabric on the flag magnet it still should have enough power to hold the flag. 2 part epoxy should be able to stick the flag on the magnet and it sets in 5 mins so we literally could set this up at the meet. I get my epoxy from the dollar store. I have a pretty good stock of it... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." | Yes the plan is still glue/epoxy the magnet to the underside of the upper hull. We just have to make sure the polarity of the magnet is the same way for everyone. Here is what I had in mind for the flags. Coiling the wire on the bottom will also prevent the flag pole from popping off when it's pulled off. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| Nice graphic! Yes. best thing to do is mark one side of the magnet for polarity. Looks good to me! _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

Thanks, been bored at work. Might have try one out and see how it works, before December. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| I actually had the similar idea earlier today (sorry no diagram), after I posted my first idea. I'm currently looking to buy some bulk HL antennas, would like about 30 of them.

| Oh. And because I'm always overlooking the easy things. How did you actually make the flags themselves?
I'm looking to do it on my sons' Jadgpanthers...

| I like this Idea a lot, so which direction/polarity for the hull mounted magnets? ie. up is North! just so I can match when I am able to be back. |

| Good question , you'll probably be supplied with 2 magnets anyway , but I think if we're supplied the regulation flags (red and blue )and stay at a regulation height , with a designated number , you can mount them anyway want , eg , most heng longs still have the antenna poles sticking out , if not the magnet idea , this might save Derek a lot of work , I think |
