OK;
Its not a tank
Its not R/C
Its not 1/16 scale
I was given this in July for a birthday present but will not be working on it for a few weeks, after the weather really turns (to many other distractions in the better weather).
This was chosen for me due to my interest in history and motorcycles, especially BMW's.
The real R75 would not keep up with my BMW F700GS on the highway, but is would carry more stuff off-road
The R75 has reverse, too.
Sometimes, restored R75's show up at BMW motorcycle rallies, with the MG34 deactivated, if mounted.

Here is a video shot from the side car on a restored R75, it looks and sounds like they are pushing it pretty hard, max. speed is listed as 95 km/hr.

I have had a few. Always a nice kit. Used to have an old Kawasaki Police cycle from Tamiya. That was a nicely detailed kit.

Good luck and enjoy on the build Glen , have you tried riding a side car bike ? I rode one a couple years back, an early HD with suicide shifter , it was a handful to ride , couldn't get used to the steering

No, and not in a big hurry too, either
I would miss being able to lean it. I understand that trikes take a bit of a learning curve, too; one of my wife's friends had a Gold Wing F6B triked and had quite a challenge getting used to it.
The triked F6B is tough on tires and I suspect a sidecar rig might be, too.
From the video taken from the sidecar, it seemed to me the rider was really pushing that 1940's R75 sidecar pretty hard.
I think I'll build the model, and stick with the F700GS for the road
