 KW Field update

Hey Guys,

So for those of you who remember, the field area had about 30 or 40 telephone poles right in the middle of it. spent Saturday playing with tractor, chain and did the perimeter of the field and stacked the rest out of the way. Thursday my digger is coming with laser and depth meters to mark the field and Saturday the 10th rain or shine we will be digging! so anyone local not going to Ft. Erie you are welcome to come out and lend a hand and a shovel! :-) As such unfortunately I will not be in Ft. Erie for the season opener.

Hey Hammer,

Just watch this post as I will be letting people know when we are going out there. For this week Wednesday night 5:30 to dusk and next Sunday I will be out there 9:30 to early afternoon. We have the field carved up and have a load of soil coming out Monday to be distributed around the field and the roads formed, the town base installed, tunnel mounted, etc... Here are some pics from yesterday and thanks Ed, Norma, and big Mike for coming out to help... Oh, and Mike I have your turret parts! Laughing

Spent the morning installing the city pad. We now also have the load of fill to spread on the field so nothing will grow. Marked out some roads and some will be ready for Sat. 
Going to do some work Tuesday night and Friday night if anyone wants to come out and lend a hand...

I tested the 1/2 wire mesh to screen the clay for rocks and it works great .I only did 3 wheelbarrows but that too went pretty quick.
I am building a more robust screening stand and should be able to bring it out this week .
I m in Stratford Tuesday but can screen some of that pile during the day.
