| been a while since you guys may have heard from Steve... Othum on the forum he has cancer i went to see him a few months ago he was to start chemo so i didn't hear from him sent a couple of messages the other day i heard from him and i was going to go see him wanted to know if he needed anything but didn't hear back I hope things get better Steve let me know if you need anything
today this was on my Facebook.
Here is an update on Steves condition. Posted by his friends and family.
Friends, some rotten news. Steve has stopped chemo as it's not doing him any good and they have gone to pain management. He is tired and weak. He called today to say goodbye. I am praying with all I have that I get to hear from him again. I know he is trying to call friends, and is very tired. So if you see a call that could be him, grab it. He's not trying to omit anyone nor did he ask me to say goodbye for him. But he is tired and weak, and just not doing well. _____________________________________________ |

| That's really sad news. Had he been to any of our meets ? Try to remember if I have ever met him. The only Steve I remember was the with the Hamilton crew and moved out west and I don't think that's the one. |

| Definitely sad new when some passes away at a young age. Steve was such a nice guy, it’s a shame he wasn’t able to make out more meetings. I know when he did, he did enjoyed himself a lot. He could not get over how open and friendly our club is. Last time I talked to him, when he told me he was sick, he was still full of life and positive he would beat the cancer. Sadly it’s rare for someone to come back from stage 4 cancer. You have to admire a person who can still have a positive attitude in the face of death. Godspeed Steve. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| I got an unexpected call from Steve’s sister last night, turns out he left me his tanks. Don’t know what I did to deserve them, but thanks Steve. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

Don’t know what I did to deserve them, but thanks Steve. Awfully generous of him. Still wish you didn't have to get tanks that way... Loss of Life is never a good way to get anything... |
