Something I've always been wondering about.  I was kinda curious as to how much they would go for but I've looked everywhere and all I can find are regular TK series boards but I've never ever seen a vendor selling any of the G2 series with the gun stabilization (both horizontal and vertical)  Is the G2 some sort of upgrade to existing TK boards?

We can order them directly from Clark. If you go down the list you will see them.

Wolfleader,

I am putting together a Tk-24G2 with a Heng Long Leo for a fellow member right now but is having some issues with integration issue. Specifically, the "gyro"/sensor unit has to be within 8cm of the main board which essentially means that the Clark board will have to in the turret of the Leo.

This is in fact what is shown in the G2 instructions, which is fine if you have a Tamiya Leo as all the electronics are located in the turret anyway. However, with a Heng Long Leo, it is a fundamental change in approach as nothing is located in the turret, and it is not designed to be separated on a regular basis for adjustments.

On my recent Markava build which is a resin kit, I did managed to "magnet" the turret which I might try to replicate on the Heng Long Leo, but there are stlll other issues, such as the location of the barrel mechanics etc that is not easy to integrate into a separate upper and lower part of the turret.

The other option of stabilization I have been toying with is a Chinese unit (CS-TK-SWB) which is a single unit with elevation/rotation servo input and output. The unit itself will just sit in the turret by itself and there is no proximity limitation to the main board. It is not specific to any electronics as it simply takes in the servo controls and when you turn it on it will take over and determine the offset for the elevation and the rotation.

Is it this thing?

Because that's pretty inexpensive though I'm guessing I would pair it with an IBU board.

I am not too sure if it is the same but this is what I have:

http://can-amrctankclub.canadian-forum.com/t1932-gun-stablization

It is roughly the same price. I have paired it with an IBU and it is completely independent of the main electronics.

I will try to post a video of it although I only have it working on horizontal/target locking.
