They are nice, same power as 480s, but much faster RPM.

Are you talking about these motors?

http://tankarmy.com/heng-long-tank/product_info.php/heng-long-powerful-motors-for-heng-long-116-rc-tanks-times-torque-14-cm-cable-p-1489

I have a bunch of these and they are pretty good.  Only downside for me is that the speed they detrack my King Tiger after a while due to the high speed though they do work nicely when I use the 3:1 Mato Steel gearbox.

Yup. They are good for moderns. Way too high RPM for anything WWII era. I have them in my ZTZ, my Abram and my T-90 (I think) as both the M1 and T-90 has found better homes.

Yes, but wait for the postage before you order. TankArmy is crazy expensive. Or I can try to pick up a pair next time I go up to see this guy.

I can find out how much he is charging for cash and carry and let you know.

Think that's the case for generally anything being shipped for australia.   I remember ordering an IR turret for my KT from OzArmour and shipping IIRC was around $24 CAD.

I ordered these motors from Amazon.ca a couple of months back.  They actually work fairly well.  My all metal Mato Tiger with the Mato 3:1 brass gearbox actually moves at a pretty decent clip with these things on.
