Now $42.99 and they are restocking... LOL! I will e-mail them on ETA of resupply...

I heard the first run was 1200 units to test the waters. I would have to think that is pretty close to sold out or at least all of them are in resellers hands.

Now everyone waits for the 6 wheeler...

Well then mine is way too expensive. This is $42.99 CAD ?

Airbrushler and Bud, you might be better off ordering from Banggood then, especially now that we know they have delivered. eBay is now almost $100CAD with shipping, and the Heng Long one was $100CAD also from the UK when I pre-ordered.

This is exactly what I am planning on doing to the truck:

I will be using my trusty Turnigy 9XR as controller. The truck side is exactly the same. ESC replacing stock controller, add in receiver and servo steering to replace the motor unit. Proportional control for throttle and steering then.

My concern is the driveshaft angles... Those angles are very high... Very likely to snap/wear due. Are you able to change the axle angles on the leaf springs? Or is it set?

Big Mike, the truck is $40 bucks a pop. If the driveshaft snap you just buy another one. Smile

Now to really answer your question.......Sold mine already so can't really tell you whether the leaf spring can be adjusted, but I believe the axle is not just sitting on the leaf spring as it also pivots off the frame, so it might be easily to actually lower the gearbox mount and eliminate the angle to the front and back. However, doing either you might need to adjust the driveshaft length which I think you might be able to do quite easily. Also this way it won't affect ride height and the clearance.

The driveshaft "should" already have some adjustment in it, if it has actual suspension.
I ask as I would want to put a larger motor in it. Maybe slower, but with more torque. And no I'm not buying one at this time... To much stuff on the go already... (Almost done some however which means more room later...)

I just need the body and wheels off of one , build my own chassis setup with rails , 4 link , coil springs , with fake leaf springs to keep scale effect , f/x motor out of 1/24 slotcar will give tons of torque , it'll get tight under there with a 380 or 400 promax motor , etc , Hey ! If you can customize a tank , you can easily customize one of these ! And alot cheaper than buying a 1000 dollar Cross rc military truck , lol

Aliexpress now carries truck parts. A little cheaper than HobbyKing.
