I'd like to propose that next battle day, we don't put out as much terrain as we have n the past. IMHO things are getting a bit cramped on the field and I'd like to see more room to manuever and engade in greater long range battles.

Your thoughts?

I would agree...if you notice, most of the multiple tank battles are all around the sides of the city and very few in the city itself.

I must admit I was a little cautious and played on the fringes because i didn't have to wrry so much about running over and damaging some of the static items .

Perhaps a senario where one team would need to defend the village ( like Bastone ) until the last man standing or for a set time limit ( when the 6th army arrives ) . Or lets have an open field battle like Kurks , but without the T34 ,s ramming anyone when they run out of ammo Laughing

I don't think it really maters what is on the field, it's going to be a natural behaviour it stay around the edge of the field. Your natural instinct is to stay close to your tank instead of venturing out into the middle. A few change that would help is to add an objective in the middle like Knispel suggested or add obstacles along the edge to force more action it the middle. Maybe we need to move the village the back to a corner again to open the middle up more.

As a side note, and this maybe bad timing, but I just built a new building that would add to the game play. Its a stand alone building that can be place pretty much anywhere.

maybe instead of having the village crammed up all around that beautiful bridge that Tim's Dad built, that we try to go across and get caught up in that we spread out the whole village, it seems like it is in this tight little area i think the village could be spread out to atleast 10 feet outwards from the center and then we could cross that bridge without getting caught up....not that i make it to the village before dying anyways but just a suggestion

I was just think that one of the problems maybe the way we start the battles.

We usually start in opposite corners and when the battle begins we head off down the edge of the battlefield (knowing we are protected on one side) and usually encounter the enemy in the other corners. I notice at the last Battleday that a lot of the battles were taking place in this areas.

What we need is a reason to use the middle more. Maybe we need to eliminate the some of the bridges from the sides so you're forced to across the river more to the middle. It should make for more movement from the edges.

Another idea would to have mine fields along the edges. If your spotted by the other team in a field you have to take an automatic hit. We can use the SLU remotes for this.

Just some ideas. scratch

Mine field ,great idea. I was also thinking of a way to block movement all around the edge .But thats a a perfect option

I think we have done this before but it might be worth considering again; have a few battles where each side cannot cross the ditch and must stay on their own side.

I'll be bringing my Pershing, Tiger and Panther. The Panther really climbs with those low ratio gear boxes. If anyone has any extra 1/16 decals for any of these tanks I'd like to buy some. Also looking to but another SLU compatible x-mitter so that I can battle panther vs Pershing. (they use the same radio at present)

I agree with spreading out the buildings we deploy, and using less of them altogether. Make the centre village less dense.

Did we ever consider the "capture" points objectives or minefields? I might make some mines for deployment, and the capture points would consist of a 2-3 foot diameter rope circle with a 1-2 minute capture time.

Just like World of Tanks Wink

Yea, spring loaded mines, ya run over them, they pop and knock your tank on its side...hahhaha

Rumors concerning my demise have been greatly exaggerated! The Panther climbs anything in front of it! Where did you get my tactic radio? I need one more so that I can battle Panther vs Perching.

The weather forecasts keep changing every 6 to 12 hours.

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Buffalo&state=NY&site=BUF&textField1=42.8898&textField2=-78.8597&e=0

I am going to be optimistic, I plan to go over to the field to weed whip the ditch, roads and any other spots that need it on Thursday evening.

Buffalo...? ummmm...I think that's somewhere in the U.S.

Here ya go...STEVENSVILLE, in the great white north.

http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/caon0650

either way, a "chance" of isolated showers. They just will not be isolated over our field...

But....in the rare chance it is....Plan B ?
