Going to kit bashing with these two:

Picture of the M-ATV plastic ladder frame and the Heng Long M-35 metal ladder frame with the suspension mounts relocated.

Dry fitting cab onto the HL metal frame and also the kit tires and rims.

Nice kit, a little over priced for what it is, but after I RC it will be much better. It will have a good robust running chassis and a nice delicate detailed upper, just the way I like them.

Waiting for ESC but it is basically done. Need to paint the glass panel frame and bumper/headlights

Very cool! Your last pic answered a question on how you attached the wheels.

Great conversion Mike.
At first glance I thought perhaps this was a result of you using up all those parts in your extra parts bin .
But after a quick search I found this too be quit a formidable vehicle.
BTW, the original suspension is pretty ridged and the truck does a lot of bouncing. Did you modify the suspension to give it a smoother running appearance?

Haven't run it on any rough terrain yet, but stock suspension so I am so it will bounce all over the place.
