So my son has an idea to build a recovery vehicle from a PzIII chassis... Specifically the Minenräumer III

It is a turretless PzIII with a suspension extensions and main rollers. And Fugly it is....

Just trying to fathom the design of the linkage/suspension and someone was smoking something. You loose all the obstacle clearing design of the tank... The suspension works like a double wishbone in a trailing/leading arm configuration (depending which way the torsion bars are).
