So anyone have any real experience with Drones?

I've picked up a huge drone on a stupidly great deal. It is however a mid-high grade drone and I have ZERO flight experience with them.
Tips and tricks to watch for?

And since someone will ask, it a Yuneec Typhoon Q500 4K. The price was just right to make me not even haggle... (Dutchman sees a sale and doesn't haggle! WTF!)

Honestly I bought the drone with a single purpose in mind which is kinda dumb, to take a high rez image of the battlefields in KW, Mississauga and Ft. Erie...
Oh and to screw around while doing action shooting at my range. The 20+ minute flight time was a good thing too.

I would suggest that you make contact with the R/C folks at K/W airpark. They will probably already have a protocol/teaching set up.
Take note! Drones are impudent critters with a tendency to present you with "butt view" which you will also note is very rapidly diminishing in size as it disappears into the next county forever......
Lessons are good....

My neighbor has one. He's gone through 3 sets of blades so far. He loves it! Start small. Up, down. Up, small pattern and return to landing. This is exactly why I got into trucks and tanks. When you crash, well.... When in doubt, YouTube it.
