PostSubject: R/C Boat (Brushed or Brushless)   Fri Sep 07, 2018 1:09 pm

Hey guys, looking to get a 25+" RC Boat (preferably a Deep V, or Cat style hull) for relatively cheap for my nephew.
He currently has a broken 33" New Bright Liquid Heat boat which is a slow 19.2V PoS that has a blown throttle control (Motor is fine, but unknown turns/speed).

I spec'd out a 30" Revolt for him, but he is balking at the $350 price tag (which includes 4S Lipo & charger). So looking for something in the $150 or less price point.

Hey Mike, if you want to combine his Christmas and Birthday gifts for the next few years, I can offer a brand new 40'' long twin electric motors PT 109 by Pro boat. Google it.

So I ended up buying a pair of boats...
the Revolt 30" for myself and a LiteHawk Challenger for my nephew.

The Revolt is pretty much an entry level competition boat, the Litehawk Challenger is a rebranded Hobby King Relentless.

Yes. That is both of them.

They do not make the Challenger anymore... Which is too bad. It is kinda decent for an entry level race boat...

Personally, I like scale boats, properly ballasted they move very realistically in water.
