Final mowing is complete. The grass is short and green.

Thanks Glen for the work you did not the field earlier this week.

Well, for running over action figures, any of the "cats" will do, but if you really want to show you care, run over them with a KT Twisted Evil

Hopefully the weather forecast improves, as of this morning, it is not going the way we hoped;

I know it's last minute, but, do we wan't to think of maybe next weekend. I know for me, the day off will be no problem and we might even be able to talk Airbrusler into coming...

Just a thought.

This is the weather link for Stevensville...a little closer to the field. No difference in the outcome though. No

It says the rain will stop in time for setup but condition will the field be in. Maybe we can postpone the for an hour and setup around 10 and battle to 5 . Would extra hour help dry the field?

As for next weekend, that is the only weekend I can't make it.

Latest forecast shows rain all night until noon tomorrow. I think we should reschedule for 2 weeks from tomorrow on October 20th.

Can I get a show of hands?

Tim

I am good with that.

While I like to be optimistic about the weather, the reality is that the past week or two have been hard to call for weather and the forecast looks "iffy" for tomorrow.

It is not good for the guys who travel distances for the meet, I would hate to see someone drive the 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours only to have it rain, or the field too soggy to dry out by noon.

According to the weather network it's going to clear up by 6am, but you guys know the weather down there better than me.

I'm going to pack up the car as planned, if the event is cancelled please post it up before 7am!
I don't want to drive all that way and be the only on there or I going over to Tim's for breakfast. Very Happy

Sorry for the late response. I am at work and have been running calls all night.

12 hours of rain is going to turn the field into a swamp.

Lets postpone then until the 20th. Sorry lads, more time to tune your tanks and charge your batteries then eh?

Tim

IMHO, that's the best call, given the weather.

As you said, it will be wet and we won't have drying weather tomorrow, either.

Here is a radar link, as of 9:30PM we have rain and the radar shows Derek and Greg are send in us some more from the west end Wink

Well I guess I get to stay-up and drink beer now! Very Happy

But now that I'm not doing anything on Saturday, the wife wants me to clean the garage. Sad

But wait that's where I keep the beer!! Very Happy

Well we will have fun next time .

Tank comander Greg will have to come with Derek to keep a eye on his driving, that's why we call them the Windsor team. (it take's two)... It's like Bert showing up with out Ernie..its not right..No

With the battle feild nice and trimed, Glen can get some tank driving practice in for a unfair advantage next time.

Only a few more battle days and then that crappy winter shows up .Mad

My Tiger crew was ready to bring it on but seem to have gotten into the Schnapps . Best we wait a while for them to recover as well
