| Hey Tom welcome. For the stock Heng Long Sherman, you will need to get new electronics to make it recoil and also Tamiya Battle System ready for IR battling in our club. The easiest is probably Clark board, but IBUs and Elmods are also more expensive options. You can always get the Tamiya electronics but in that case you might as well buy a Tamiya Sherman. Funny enough, the Tamiya M4A3 Sherman itself does not come with recoil either (The only one in their offering that doesn't). I happened to be building one using the Tamiya Sherman electronics now and I have to find a different solution to make it recoil.
The best way to see what options you have is to come out to one of our meets and see what needs to be done to these stock Heng Long tanks. I think there is a meet next weekend at K/W which is a great place to check out tanks.

Airbrusher are you selling yous? Sorry Tom didn't realized that. What did we talk about ? Either way you will need new electronics to be battle ready and whatever you pick it will have recoil function capability. Some are more plug and play than others depends on the brand of tank you get (i.e. Heng Long or Taigen or Tamiya). |

Airbrusher are you selling yous? yep that one is for sale stock has no electronics you don't have to feel obligated to buy it if you want to get one from Matomart Taigen or Tamiya it's your choice but whatever you get the guys here on the forum can help you with any questions or sometimes spare parts they are a good bunch of guys Greg _____________________________________________ |

| Tom, maybe you talked to the other Mike ? There is two Mike's there on Saturday, there is Big Mike and I am the other Mike......... Either way I am sure the boys will sort it out for you this weekend. Too bad I am away and can't be there. Would have been fun. On the otherhand, the crew at the Mississauga goes out there all the time, you just need to check with the field master Hach. MikeC. |

Hello tree, There’s an old saying that it’s better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission...or is it the other way around? |
