I guess if say the last one is 1/16 then this one must also be 1/16.........NOT !

HEMTT is the biggest truck so far they use the same chassis, so the M35 might be close to 1/16, the MAN 6x6 is 1/20, and now this one is about 1/22 scale. Pretty soon we will be running 1/24's.

I don't think they have a clue when it comes to scale. They just guess from how big the last one they made was.. LOL!

Yup no clue what so ever. Just do a Goggle search and pull out your calculator. I think it is actually more sinister than that. They know they can sell more if they say it is 1/16 rather than 1/18 or 1/20 or 1/24. Even my HG P801 1/12 HEMTT is actually 1/14. Funny enough I think if they had stated 1/14 they might have a better market since that matches with the Tamiya truck scale.
