That picture is not of the Stug, also thanks for posting the link to the build.
I took a look at the pictures of the Stug build and for what they started with it looks like a vary good tank.
They did a lot of hard work and spent a lot of money building it and the builders should not be insulted because it is not a real WW2 German tank. They do not say it is a real Stug and make a good attempt to take it out to show people the tank and use it for shows.
Anyone who chooses to take on such a project for the love of tanks should be thanked at every opportunity .
Just the cost of storing, transporting, fuel and oil and tank upkeep is a HUGE cost!
Their love of the hobby and skill should be appreciated, now that is a model builder.
If you go to a show and see recreations or real tanks, jeeps, or trucks on display or better yet running on the field , make a point of showing appreciation and thanking them for bringing there vehicle out.
Don't be a rivet counter that is not good for the hobby, any hobby the point is to be happy.
