| Thanks to everyone coming out this weekend. we had a pretty good turn out on Saturday and the boys from Mississauga popped out for Sunday so it was nice to see them too... It turned out to be an expensive one for me personally. I lost 2 tents that belong to the company I work for, and they are not your Walmart type tents but are going to cost me out of pocket about a "G" but, was my own stupidity. I was just too hot and tired to lower them down and decided that it didn't look like we were going to get a severe one. I'm pretty sure with Big Mike's description they got hit with a downdraft wind shear that fired them across the field and fired the tables all over the place. So unfortunately after I let my boss know, from now on I will just be bringing a personal tent and tables for myself. Just to add insult to injury, someone decided that they were entitled to all the money in our kitty jar in the trailer on Sunday. This piddly money we collect from you guys goes toward expenses at the field. This year everything from Stone Dust for the roads $150 Paint $75, field decorations like bunkers time and small amount of money, BP for the special effects $120, food $60, etc... just to give you an idea. The fees we collect cover a little of this so it was very disappointing to see over a hundred and Forty bucks stolen. And make no mistake, it was stolen... Anyway I still had fun, I like the more organized combat and this will only improve. We had some great battles for sure! Looking forward to the 27th and then the big weekend in Sept! Make sure you get your tanks up to snuff! Get to MacDonalds for straws for those emitters!

| Kinda miffed that there are such A-Holes around the club that would steal so blatantly... Pretty pitiful excuses for people... Bah!
I am surprised at the shear force of the gusting winds... However that huge down pour was almost entirely drained away by 9am Sunday Morning...
Oh I emailed the images and video link Dean. I CC'd you. Hopefully we will hear something... Very annoying to something I finally was happy with "completing"... |

| God I hope it isn't one of us... That would really be disheartening.
I have to agree with Dean that it was likely done while we were all having lunch in the Clemmer building.

| I for one do not believe it was one of our own.
We were too trusting and have learned a lesson. More secure protocols are in place.
Having said that I have sent Dean a donation to cover some of his personal expenses for field maintenance , funding and organizing the weekend activities.
This thief stole from all of us and I hope you can also chip in. |

| Well guys, ED FOUND THE DONATION BOX!!! turns out we have 2 of these and the one with all the donations in it was behind the case of water in the trailer!!! LOL! Norma had put it in the trailer but she wasn't there on Sunday so all Ed and I saw was the OTHER container on the shelf with a few coins in it! LOL , that is a bit of good news! I also found a deal on the work tents I had to replace only cost me $432 bucks instead of the usual $600 or so so feel better about that too!
