I happened to see that RCTankwars lists a zimmerit kit, about 1/2 way down this page;

http://rctankwars.com/Products.asp

It is currently listed as out of stock, though.

I posted in inquiry about it on the "other forum" to see if there was any feedback about it.

I see Welsh Dragon sells it too;

I hand putty the zimmermit on my Tiger. It was cheaper than the kits , but took along time to do, about 4 1/2 hours.
If I do another one I think I will get the kit. It cost 4x more than the putty, but it looks way easier and less frustrating.

Glen have you checked with ETO Armour. I believe they carry them too.

Ed did you get the kit?
Supposedly the kit come with a good, from what I've read about it.

Or you can do your own zimmermit with putty and about 6 hours, like me! Very Happy

I had been looking to improve the details of my Tiger and I read your previous post on how you did your zimmermit .The result is much more realistic but the time to do it was the deciding factor for me to buy a rubber kit from Welch dragon.I thought there would be glue or instruction with it but just the rubber pieces.
I am thinking of using contact cement which should bond this to the metal hull very well ....but there is still time for experianced builder input.
