| I must have the wrong link. The one I got from Banggood says no yellow one with sound and light until August 1st.
Is yours yellow ? Can you send me the link ? |

| With all those Humvee's coming you should be able to get a good " Black Hawk Down " scenario |

| They are and I have been very impressed with this brand. Mine is suppose to show up on Tuesday and first order of things is to rip out the 16 channel radio/receiver and replace it with a pistol grip 3 channel ones. I might even get the same brand receiver as the Oshkosh 8x8 by the same company and share the pistol grip from that truck as well. |

| Don't rip out 16 channel radio. One guy at Mississauga field did that now screw up the Humvee. |

| I am pretty sure it is the same set-up as the OskKosh. I am ready to order the same brand receiver and use it on the HUMVEE.
Either way I will give it a try. Radio is a radio you can always just plug everything back in the same way and it should work.
What did he do to fix it ? |

| Mine showed up today. Didn't disapppoint, looks and feels like the real thing. If anyone ever wants to own a scale HUMVEE this baby is it.
The .50 cal in the storage compartment looks like it can be swap with the stock grenade launcher at the gunner's position. Of course also saw a 3D custom printed (much more detail) .50 cal available on eBay specifically printed for this HUMVEE.
Under the hook it looks like the usual 3 channel control with couple of power tap off the receiver, so I am pretty convinced I can switch it over to the same stock pistol controller for the 8x8. The carrying case is super nice, dense foam with magnet closure and a handle, even have a spot for the 16 channel controller. However, there is just way to much control for a simple truck with a 2 speed servo transmission. 3 channel would be ore than enough. There is SIX 3 way switch on the 16 channel controller !
Now I just need to find some 1/10 US Army decal from Desert Storm that is not a military police........ It unfortunately did not come with the KFOR stickers like the green/camo version. |

Hach, the wiring is pretty simple. From the 16 channel receiver: Channel one is split three ways - 1. Goes to ESC for throttle, 2. Goes to Headlight, 3. Goes to Sound module Channel two is split three ways - 1. Goes to Steering servo, 2. Goes to signal lights 3. Goes to Sound module Channel Four is for Gear Change servo Channel Ten is for the Driving Lights goes to the light module, just one wire for the signal Channel Fourteen is for the Horn, goes to the sound module, just one wire for signal Any three channel pistol style radio will handle this as long as you don't care for horn or light switch (i.e. Never on for the horn and always on for the lights). Also the radio description is NOT correct in the instructions so that might cause some confusion. Also the sound module shown in the instruction is DIFFERENT than the one installed. Go figure. I think I will switch to the three channel radio I have for the OskKosh. Don't care for the horn or the light switch. |
