If you got it no problem, but if something comes up still willing to do it, just let me know... :-) _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| Thanks, guys
Normally I could get it done but it is likely that this Friday I'll have a scheduling conflict.
The good thing is the heat has slowed the grass down. it isn't as thick, this time. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Thanks, Mike The field is good to go (Dean, you can show up at a more "reasonable" time w/o a mower ) Between my initial cau and Stingers weed whip and final cut tonight, and I did a bit of tidying up, as well, the field is in good shape _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| We are preparing the field tomorrow for the Oct. 24th Meet.
This will be a "go" regardless of the weather.
We have the option of meeting indoors at the Black Creek Centre in the event of rain; our goal is to have an outdoor event, and the field will be ready, but we have a weather contingency, this time. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

PS: My beautiful Cathrine ( Sherman ) drove off the bench tonight as I was doing a final check .I think all is well however, if anyone has an extra driver lid pls bring it along. |

| I drove by the field yesterday. The grass is starting to grow and will need maintenance cutting even though the 1st meet is in June. Right now, I am still getting over that virus that has been going around and have not started on my own 1+ acres. Hopefully I will be able to get around to cutting it soon. If anyone local is open to cutting ig, please feel free but lets make sure we post updates; don't want someone making the trip there, just to find out someone else cut it 2 days previously _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Thanks Wayne Just don't do any damage to your knee! Doesn't have to be cut to the quality needed for a meet, just need to keep it from being a hay field, when we go to do the 1st field prep. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Thanks Wayne, you da man! I am thinking a crew the weekend before the June meet maybe get together and clean things up a bit. Dig out the riverbeds, do another cut, lift and clean stone roads, etc... Maybe discuss at Oshawa with a few guys... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| I checked out the grass at Black Creek yesterday, Mike / the caretaker has cut the grass around our battle site, only the grass on top of the hills needs trimming, can be done any time . I will keep checking so that when Tank day gets closer we can keep the grass trimmed short.

Dianne and I went over the site again last night with the lawnmower, rakes and blower. My cut is not as short as we might like it. A trimmer would be helpful and maybe a shorter cutting lawnmower but I do not know what others are bringing. ( Dean ??) I will try to remember to bring my blower but that is all I will have room for. Donn't forget I will bring hot dogs and condiments. Wayne |
