Thanks Wayne , wish I could have helped out with field sooner , I'll bring my mower and trimmer with me just in case , I'll be there around 7 30 to help out with the short cut and trim , since this is my first time there , is there any residential houses nearby as not disturb them when we fire up mowers early ? Lol

The houses are a ways off, I don't see a problem there.

Wayne has cut the field, but I expect some additional work will be required on Sat. morning; possible raking or leaf blowing grass, etc.

THANKS Wayne!

I have handed the trailer crank and building key off to Wayne for Saturday, since I can't attend, hope all goes well.

I will try to get the field ready for June 10th, assuming the weather cooperates.

Like many areas in Ontario, it has been a wet spring here, the challenge will be to get things cut and have a dry day for June 10th.

I expect that the field will require raking after cutting.

Unfortunately I have to attend a funeral in Fergus on Saturday June 10 and will not be able to attend.
Also I have been dealing with Vertigo form the last 3 weeks and have not been able to do the bending and twisting needed on Tank Day.
I am still going to try doing my annual Tank display on June 18 for Fathers Day for the Senior residents at Gilmore Lodge in fort Erie. They seem to like it a lot I have a beater T-54 that they all can try to drive.
They love it. ( Some year it would be nice if we could get some tanker volunteers to join in the tank display)

Sorry Glen:

I misled you.
Fathers day is June 18.
The event is Friday June 16, meet at 1:00 PM show and tell at 2:00 PM.
I realize that most people are working and unable to attend.
Thanks for the consideration. ( I will try to get it correct next time)

In regards to the April 28th meet at Fort Erie, PLEASE WATCH THIS THREAD

I thought I had better post this since that is two weeks away.

We will need some drying weather to both get the field ready and have it dry enough to walk on.

Spring has been non-existent here, so far.

As noted in the schedule;

April 28th (if things dry up here by then)

We're not throwing in the towel just yet on April, but it will be weather dependant so updates will given.

Yeah. lots of ice pellets on the ground here today, like shovelling wet cement.

Now, we are getting the rain, but at least it is not freezing, not helping with drying things out, though.

Trying to find that list of battle days that I saw before but can't find now.  I want to join and use my tank (KT) and pay my membership fee.  I am a novice to this hobby but am keen to learn.  Please send me pointers to pwiwczaruk@rogers.com  Thanks
