From the weather link that is on our website, the long range forcast for next Saturday looks promising.  We have been forcasted with 4-5 days straight of sunshine that will be over 20 deg C that should hopefully give enought time to dry the field out.

Judging from the responses, the majority vote is for Saturday the 22nd which also works for the weather as there are slight chances of rain for the Sunday.  Effectively, we will have the web site and the forums chanGed to reflect this new date.

As always, please keep checking both the web site and the forums for any last minute updates.

Stinger

 According to the "Roll Call", Freaky and Adman have not been on since Wednesday.

Thanks for thinking of me . We have had problem with internet and VOP phone lines . My appologies . I will update my info this next after Bell puts in a new line

We will have to monitor the weather forecasts, as of Thurs. morning, June 20th, they have thunderstorms as a possibility.

I want the meet to go ahead, but don't want people driving a couple hours to attend a "rain out", so I will keep checking, and posting on the weather.

I am remaining optomistic at this point, and charging batteries.

I think we should be not too bad. It lists it as isolated 30% which means we could be sunny and 10 miles away could be raining but not for long. Smaller formations nothing big and at 30% that is on the low side. Fingers crossed!

The Dutch are pretty good at holding the water back! Wink

We should be all right, the Weather Network is not call for rain until about 5pm. So we might have pack up a little sooner.

We'll keep thinking happy thoughts on the weather.

I will be cutting the grass on the field on Friday.

It may just be one of those days you hold some on the fleet back in the vehicle, not all on the tables, JUST in case there needs to be a rush to cover. Wink

Weather forecast as of Thursday night;

A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Southwest wind 8 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Weather Channel has it at 40% chance of precip.

I am willing to chance it.

However, I am concerned about people driving 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours just to get rained on.

I'll bring my galoshes. From the looks of the various forecasts it doesn't look that bad, we've run full days with 'worse'.

I'm go.

Sounds good, if everyone wants, we'll carry on.

Its OK for me, my drive is 10 minutes, I just don't want folk to be disappointed if they come here and it rains.

I am charging batteries and will cut the grass on the field, so it is good to go.

We have had good drying weather for the past 4 days, so the field will be in good shape.

Sat. forecast, as of Fri. morning;

Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

We have had 5 days of dry weather, so the ground around here is in much better shape, now.

This is looking good, we'll get the field ready, this aft.
