I like the bottom one ,the upper version looks too much like a factory HL colour .

Bingo, bottom one. It may just be a case of how it's presented digitally. With weathering & blending both would be nice.

I think the presentation on the top one is miss-leading.

The colours are a representation but not corret, they just show the pattern and where the colours go.

I visualize it with the proper colours, a green base like the MNH with fine overspray of the pattern, brown and yellow would be darker, thinner/not stand out as much.

I think it has some promise, the outfit had an interesting history, too.
