Excellent, see you all there!

Also mixed but mostly positive feelings about not driving around in the snow Wink

I updated the RCU post, well, just because... I suppose there are a couple 'locals' there who haven't checked us out yet!

Wayne, I'll be sporting about it and give you first choice, Captain America, or Indy (of course if you can line up both in one run, go for it!) Wink Laughing

Then there's always Elvis, we have had sightings on the field, but haven't had the opportunity for him to meet a "cat", yet.

Thanks Glen for making the decision. I got nailed with 2 house fires yesterday and a $100,000 Excavator fire this morning so I am a zombie at the moment. I will get out to the field at 1pm this afternoon to mow it.

Sorry to those who can't attend. October and November weather has not been kind to us. Lets hope for better skies next year.

Lawn is ready. May I suggest a 11am start time as the field will take some time to dry out.

Are you talking setup at 11 or start battling at 11?
Don't forget it takes about an hour to set up tables and field, plus the mourning chatter.

And what would the finished time be?

Don't forget what Sunday is, we should have at least a moment of silence at 11.

How bout instead of having a dinner after, we meet for a late breakfast instead. Just a thought.

Was just talking to Greg, he had an idea. What if we bring some leaf blowers, would that help dry the field quicker? scratch

I have a cordless I could bring.

How many bags of road salt to adequately negate the threat of growing grass altogether? Wink

I know what you mean, last month it was took longer to dry than in the summer.

A suggestion, how about a 10:00AM arrival for set up with a goal to an 11:00AM start.

Open to discussion

Also, some other things to decide,

1.) Bring your own lunch, BBQ or go for pizza? I am fine with any but BBQ needs a bit of planning and if its take-out, someone has to go get it.

Or

2.) Dinner, we talked about that originally, I am fine with going, or not.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. I would have preferred not to have the meet that day for this reason but the weather did not come together for us.

Alright, how about 10am setup. Field should be ready at 11am. We'll have a moment of silence, battle, then wrap things up by 4pm (its getting darker earlier).

I won't be able to go out for dinner with you all, but there are some nice places to eat in Niagara Falls or even Skuttlebutts in Stevensville.

Thanks for the reply, Tim

I'll be there at 10:00 or a bit before Wink

You are right about losing the light early, that will be a factor for sure.

I suggest that we make the dinner an individual choice, some have commitments, some have a long way to go home so perhaps we can make that call on Sun. aft.

Maybe we can bring our own stuff, for each of us, to bbg on the grill.

That way, everyone gets what they want and a few guys don't have to look after it/

As for the Pantiger and the grill, lets go just traditional and smoke it on the field Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

With my Tiger and Panther both down with burnt chips, I've had to call in the reinforcements!

So I'll be bring my Sherman and Panzer 3, plus the return of my MAKO powered JagdPanther and Airburshler's new Clark powered Panther for field testing!

I also have the BBQ packed for those who wish to use it!

And for a third attempt, I will also be bring my Dad.
