Hey Guys, on a little break from Sherman Fireflies and 75mm's while the electronics are installed. So decided to take a crack at the WCP RC Models and Crafts Wirbelwind turret using a TK40sp Clark board set up with the 20mm quad firing sounds. These sounds and the board came from Kenny at DAK R/C in the U.S.

Very nice! Are the LED's 3mm or smaller? I have considered building this myself and presenting it to the guys at Base Borden. They have so very far to go with their resto.

3mm but ou have to sand them a little to make it work. I have offered to paint their vehicle when they are done...grin

Hey Chris if you are going to build one to present to Base Borden I'll donate the turret I am printing one now I can easily print to and give it to you when covid is over

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Some times I have ambitious ideas. Some times those ideas don't pan out. I really need to finish some projects first. Maybe someday yet.

As for Base Borden, they have one of the 2 Wirlbelwind's left in existence. They have the vehicle completely disassembled at the moment. Their goal is to have the vehicle not only in running condition, but shooting as well.
