One of our members Bruce had some panther gear box trouble and is looking for some stock Panther Gear boxes.

I was able to take apart a spare gear box and use the gears inside to repair Bruce's Panther gear box. This is not a difficult as it sounds. The gear box unscrews easily. Just be sure to not to mix up the gear combination, and use the other gear box as a reference. I did have to move a gear on the drive axle, so I used a gear puller ($15 at a local hobby shop) and a vice to install the new gear on the shaft.

That is 3 Panthers now that I have heard of that had their gears strip.

I'll try and post a how to on the tips and techniques.

did you remember mine in the 3 you heard of i had to get some from Glen i did order some replacement gears from mato i think it was $22.60 with and i got the other ones working they are now in my T-34 yes it's not too hard to do
glad you got them working iwant to see some pics of this Panther though...lol i'm a pic-a-holic i like to see other tanks

this was from rcuniverse on my T-34 build

well i stripped the gears in my panther gearbox on one side i got new ones from one of the great guys at Can-Am Glen B
so the panther was up and running but i still don't do so good as the DBC gets hit one time and don't go anywhere but anyways i was able to order just the gears to replace the stripped ones they give you both sides and the hardware for $12 plus shipping and taxes it was $22.60 from Matomart so now i'm going to put these to good use in the
T-34
