I hope Christie style suspension's benefits translate to the smaller scales, you should have a very quick and nimble tank on your hands soon!

I hope so too. Either it will crash and burn in the ditch, or it will use it as a jump :-)

Hey man very nice build ...but one question are the suspention arms fully encased around the bolt and spring assembly .just seems like a week spot by the pics you posted not a lot of materials holding the bolt and spring in the arm

Hey Doug,
The whole suspension system is accessible from the bottom. The arm can actually be taken out with a little negotiation. It is a little hacked together, but it seems to be strong, and it works for now.

Cool :-) I'll have to field test it first to know if it works. Lol

In the mean time, here's something for the rivet counters :-)

Here's a small update. I put on the antenna, made a small escape hatch on the back of the turret, attached the fenders, Got sneaky with some view ports and did some prep work on the gun assembly. Coming along, but my time is getting limited these days. And I'm still waiting on the correct ball bearings :-/ The wheels will go on one day. lol

Christian Ludwig unknowingly tipped me off to a German site, www.knupfer.info. They have all sorts of goodies. Pretty fast shipping too considering. I pretty much bought all of the hardware for this tank off them. I need about 150/200 more 1mm rivets to finish this thing off, so I'll be ordering from them again :-)

Oh, make sure to translate the page before shopping :-)

It's coming along nicely, can't wait to see it in action!

Other than waiting for parts, how difficult has the kit been to put together?
