| I hope the weather is good for the weekend or I'll end up missing this month's Battleday, I fly out to the east coast for two weeks. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| The weather picture is jumping around a bit. My site that I use shows for Sat. Kitchener here only 10% and sunshine and a 50% chance of precip with the chance for severe thunderstorms in Fort Erie!
Then Sunday is all clear. By Thurs. night will have an accurate picture.... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| The weather forecast for Saturday just dropped from 90% rain to 40% chance of rain overnight. So, it appears we are going in the right direction...lol
As always, we post on the web site no less than the night before if there is to be a reschedule. Please make sure you check the web site if you at all concerned.

| I am watching the forecast sites.
The changeable nature of the weather these days will make calling this one difficult.
It would be best to keep checking the web site and/or forum to see the status of the meet. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Glen and I will be doing the ground maintenance Friday evening in anticipation of the Battle on Saturday.
If the battledate where to be cancelled due to potential rain that is forecasted (40% as of today), the following day, Sunday, looks to be a clear day as far as the rain forecast goes.
How does everyone feel about having the rain date, Sunday the 21st ?

| Our goal is to go with Sat. if possible, but we need to have a contingency with the weather being so unpredictable, this year.
We are just trying our best to avoid people travelling some distance only to encounter a rain-out. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Sunday will be tense, I pray for a rain on Friday early so the field dries. |

| Hi Guys,
Just checked my forcaster this morning and it has improved. Looks like the front is going to come through earlier with Friday having big wind (35km) and a 30% chance isolated thunder storms. For Sat. has dropped to 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms which is exactly what it was last month. Chances are if we get it it will be later in the day... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| If you click on our web site link, which has a direct link to Stevensville weather, this morning actually got a lot worse. It went up to 90% chance of thundershowers. Sunday dropped to just 10% chance.
We will monitor the weather like always and make the call probably tonight. Watch this thread or the status button on our web site for a decision.

| Good morning fellow tankers. We have waited for the last minute this month to make a decision on the Battle Day as the weather has been changing by the hour.
Checking with the Weather Network via the link on our web site at 8:30 this morning, it calls for an 80% chance of rain tomorrow morning, thus we are Cancelling Saturdays Battle Day and moving to our announced rain date of Sunday July 21st.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday !

| My rain gauge showed showed just over 2 inches of rain last night, between 8:00PM and 8:00AM, radar shows a bit of rain in the area that is moving off. Forecasts indicate that we should have 20 to 24 hrs drying before tomorrow's meet, the ground was very dry last night before the rain; the field should be in good shape for tomorrow. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| It is always a concern making a call on the weather and switching meet days, looks like tomorrow should be great, lower humidity, etc. Had to go to the Toronto Airport last night, the QEW from St Catherines to Burlington was lik a dark, car wash, with high intensity strobe lights _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."
