| Hey; Just got the Mitosal KV tracks from Stince and put them on the KV1 while the KV2 received the RCTANK.de tracks. The KV1 is a Tamiya, but with Heng Long Armor added along with the Mitosal Tranny and idler brace The KV2 is a mishmash - the body is the RCTANK metal one while the turret is Tamiya, electronics are Elmod To note the Mitosal and RCTank.de KV tracks are very good quality but only fit Tamiya sprockets or the RCtank.de Sprockets - they will not fit a stock Heng Long sprocket. | Very nice! Your KV-2 is very similar to my setup, even the same gearbox. Some may argue it's my most dangerous tank.... That's a funny thing about kv sprockets.... only Henglong fits henglong... and tamiya, impact and asiatam/taigen all fit each other. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| Hey Stince;
The KV is a great runner - you'll like it! Only thing I found is replacing the commanders hatch with one that works - I used the one from RCTANK.de
Also it will run a bit fast with the stock tranny and not accept the geardowns. I went with the Impacts that work really well

| I've found online that you can use gear downs but install them on an angle.
I most likely won't use any in mine.

| Hey Stince;
Also forgot - the brace for the idler is recommended - the hull seems to be a bit weak in that area and may tend to bend inwards with the stress. Also got this from Impact.
