Hi Guys,

help  I need a pinion gear for a standard Heng Long motor. help 

The one I have, the hole in the pinion is too big and keeps wandering along the motor's shaft and lose contact with the first gear. No

Hey man I have a pluthra of pinions I also have harbour shaft shim stock to take up any excessive play say if you have a metric motor and a standard pinion ...letme know

What if you were to put some Loctite on the shaft were the gear is supposed to sit. Loctite 262 will seal to metal

I wouldn't use loc tite tread locker but I would use there retainer compound for bearing surfaces its green in color and its made by loc tight also

loctite may not be the solution, I have a few of the standard HL pinions around if you need them. just let me know

I have some loctite at home, I'll try tonight and see how it works, If it doesn't then I'll take you up on the offer Curtis.

Make sure you use the Bearing locker type. I have used that product in my Pro-street Cuda to hold the rear axle bearings in place. If it can hold those, it certainly should be able to hold your gear.
