Al
The RX18 does not need to be bound. It runs off of an FM signal, All you need to do is make sure the crystals in your radio are the same frequency as the crystals on your receiver board.

The crystals on your receiver board are pretty clear as they are the only removable item on it.
On the radio the crystals are behind that little black box cover on the bottom right. The frequency will be printed on a tag or engraved on the crystal.

Freaky - this is the Heng long 2.4Ghz set up. Trying to bind the HL transmitter with 2.4Ghz RX-18 (my T-34 was lacking the instructions)

I had no idea it could be bound, that would have been useful in the manual!!

I think it is like the Taigen 2.4Ghz where you can bind the same radio to different tanks.
