| what better way to introduce my self then to show you what i got and building picked up the Porsche turret one as a static model kit and since it got all the right hole i'm now making it RC with almost all the parts i need on order but i still need the main brains of the beast and a Turret Rotation Unit but i can deal for now since i have to mount the recoil and thing in the turret. after that i will start on molding the Zimmerit armor with putty

| Nice tanks mate...... gotta love the ole KT's very tough looking tank.
I have a Henschel and Porsche KT both Tamiya... The Porsche runs Elmod Pro, which is very nice.
Cheers Ken |

No you have to stick it on, Tamiya does a zimmerit sheet in there Henschel kit its like a sticker but not worth using to be honest. I recommend the Atak zimmerit kit, used it on my Henschel KT.... |

| I've never worked with that epoxy before. Let me know what you think of it. I've used White Squadron Putty, which nice to work with, but it dry up in about 20 minutes. So you have to work fast and do small areas at a time. I recently used Milliput on my Elefant, it's nice to work too. It has a much longer drying time, about 4 hours before it gets hard, so you can do larger areas. Zimmermitting a tank is not hard, just time consuming and boring. I was getting a like nutty near the end of the Elefant. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| Any one know how to remove White Squadron Putty? I add zimm on my HL tiger. Now, I am thinking remove it because it seems no early type Tiger had "zimm" in WWII |

| The only one I've came across.
Squadron Putty would be hard too get off. It eats into the plastic to bond, you would have to sand it all the way down. It would be easier to convert to a mid production Tiger. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| Negaduck I use both actually depending on what Sayal has in stock but the Blue ones I have tested to the full 30 meter standard. They hit the 950nm wave so they a bit wide farther out, I suggest you bury your IR 11mm inside the tube instead of the standard 9mm. As long as it feeds the correct juice you will be great and should not need to worry about the LED.

| still gets some prices on the MULTI FUNCTION unit but so far i'm looking at around $120 for one looks like i need to order some more parts before i start putting in the guts of the turret, for now i've been working on drilling holes to mount the deck, speaker box and fenders in as well as some holes for the gear boxes. more then likely i will use a different mount to hold the body down but for now this will do I also started the zimmy on the back of the turret but the tamiya putty is very sticky even when i dip my fingers and tools in water

| Where did you buy the MFU?
Supposedly Tamiya has a life time warranty, but I believe you have to prove that it was bought in North America. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger
