Been drooling over Ren's CUT JT for a long time and finally took the big plunge. Never like the full fendered JT look, but cutting the Torro JT fender is a big job as there is nothing underneath, unlike the Tammy Tiger II where fenders are bolted on separately. So with advice from Ren, did the big CUT. Trimmed out the existing fender bolt strip and reused it as the continuation of the upper onto the lower as standard styrene sheet is not long enough in one piece. Reusing the bolt strip from the fender also have the exact positions of the bolt plate which I have to DIY. Picture before and after. Now my JT actually looks like a Hunting Tiger instead of a bloated fat cat.

That looks great. I'm still too chicken to carve or smash up the skirts off the Taigen Tigers or the Sturm nevermind major surgery like that.  It totally transforms the tank. Yea Ren's JT has a lot to answer for. The first time I saw it at the field with the massive metal tracks on display led me to end up with my 2 KT's Big CUT on my JT 1f600  Big CUT on my JT 1f600

Do it Martin ! You won't regret it. So happy with the look. Also funny enough if you look at the first picture with the original fender, the KT next to it is a Tammy and Zach has not installed the fenders and just slice the bolt plate off the fenders and mount them onto the side for a sans fender look. Much easier.

Onto the Chieftain fenders next. Thanks to Ren again for the inspiration on both. Clearly he is not a fan of fenders.

I’m liking the look as well; who knows, I might just put that mini grinder to work!
