PostSubject: CAN-AM PARTICIPATION IN AMPS SHOW   Thu Feb 20, 2014 6:45 pm

Greetings Everyone!

While I don’t have full information I thought I would get started by giving everyone the web link to see the AMPS event May 30th that we are registered to attend as a club. Rather than me type out all the details and goings on for this event please check out the website: (I am working on getting us linked)

http://ampsgreatwhitenorth.com/

We would set up on the Friday, the show is on Saturday, and teardown would be Sunday. My thinking is prepare the field and lay down trees, buildings, etc.. .on the Friday but only set up our tents and tables Saturday morning. We would do a full teardown Saturday night no use waiting to do it Sunday!

My information is that we will set up on the soccer field beside the living history groups but this will be clarified after I do a recon when the snow leaves. Hopefully before the May long weekend! help

I personally will probably make a weekend of it and stay down Friday and Sat. night before heading home Sunday. Anyone who is interested I will see if I can get any discount for a group rate barring just doing priceline.com which I have always had good success with!

I also have inquired into the admission price money  but don’t expect any break from the $10.00 to get in. After all this is all non-profit and the proceeds go to support the event I’m sure.

So think a little about it and let me know if you would like to participate and we can do a little early planning.

Any ideas, questions or queries are always welcome! Fire away! russian
