| Mato metal isn't that much cheaper, (tiger is $649) in fact as a base model they are only a few of bucks less than the link I just sent and they only have 3 models right now. Plus you have to upgrade ALL the electronics and motors for if you want to battle.
Personally I will never own a tank with a metal upper. I like to modify things too much and the metal is too hard and time consuming to work with... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| i understand, just 'all metal' concept hooked me. those tanks are not good battlers, too heavy, but tank are supposed to be heavy!!! Price wise, you are wrong! :-) |

| it is about same price to me compared with tamiya, with all electronics. plus some tamiya tanks needs lots of metal upgrades. that is why. you will know the difference when your all metal tank thunder thru by you on your nice wood floor. :-) again, on grass, it is not a good battler just like any heavy tank on the battle field. |

| So I'm not wrong on the price then... The only metal upgrades the Tamiya really needs is tracks from Impact and they are not stupidly priced. Actually I know a few guys who stick with the plastic tracks and don't have that many issues. I have driven the real thing, trust me, these are toys no matter what they are made out of! LOL! I prefer to actually come out and battle with my tanks! but if you are happy running them in your house hey, more power to you! :-) Yes that is a taunt! Hehehe... Weight gets you nothing on the field just uses batteries up faster... When painted up it is impossible to tell if they are metal or plastic and most of my tanks you hear the juiced up sound systems so plastic or metal wouldn't make a difference running on a floor. If I could afford Tamiya I would have Tamiya just for the quality of detail and electronics but hey, I'm happier having several tanks and not just a couple and again it would take all the fun out of modifying and re-building them that I get. Like my latest L70. Next up a Panther "A" and an early "G" both with zim And yea, that's a PE padlock on the tool box in the last shot..
