Gentlemen,

Unfortunately the July & Aug. battledays conflict with 2 important events for me so I will be unable to attend these 2 dates. Just thought I should let you know for tent issues and food. So sorry, will be the Sept. meet before I am back! Which means I will be unveiling a new thing or 2 then...

TXS
Dean

Nope, First one is Big Music Fest first time here in Kitchener. Wife says I'm going so I have to go. 3 or 4 of the bands I really like and it is a 5 min. walk from my house to the venue! Bonus!

Second date is Fergus Scottish Festival which I have done for 25 years. We are a sponsor there and sell souvenirs and up until this year ran the beer tent too! I was actually thinking of getting the club involved in this as there would be a couple of areas we could set up a field. But then I thought yea, but I am working and wouldn't be able to play!

I have a buddy and his sister that compete every year at the Fergus Scottish Festival for the bagpipe bands. Its one of the highlights of their season.
Always want to go but never got around to it.

That's unfortunate but sometimes other things come up.

It will just make everyone appreciate the excellent food contributions more. Wink

Darn , Norma has been talking about those two events for a while now too . The Music Feast tickets were so cheap and once in a life bands concidering who they booked to play , also  concidering her scotish heritage ,the Fergus Festival is also on her mind ( BIG TIME ). We both really enjoy the club battle meetings too so I'll keep u posted.
