picked up an SLU from one of the guys on RC Universe and i got my 10 Turnigy 9e micro servos i have been waiting for first order got lost in transit so waited like a month for a return of my money cause they had to investigate so second time around took like 11 days to get here so then i was a matter of figuring out how to get the servos the work through the radio i still have to figure out how to get the one to match the sound of the main gun

Can you still get SLUs ? I thought they have gone out of business a while ago. Are the servos being control by the SLU or is it just off the Turnigy receiver directly ? If it is off the Turnigy receiver directly can you share the set up on the radio ?

I was concerned about the same thing. I had no problem with installs (a big thing for me ) and initially they ran well but mine have developed some problems with time.
At the last meet I was running my green, SLU equipped Panther.
Everything was working fine, except;
I would have it on the field and it would spontaneously shut down.
It could be re-started with the radio and it would run for a while, then do it again, to be re-started.......repeat several more times.
I am wondering if this is another SLU affliction, or possibly a low battery.
Then there is the "run straight over the entire speed range problem", that has developed with some of mine.
It does seem that the SLU is pretty much out, I have not found any active sellers. I can`t find any references to purchasing new units. The last information I had from Hulu was that there were no more replacement chips available in North America for them (someone please correct me if this is not correct).
I have 4 SLU`s left in tanks, and these will need to be replaced eventually if the source for units and repair components has dried up.

An update on my own recent SLU experience;
At the last meet I was running my green, SLU equipped Panther.
Everything was working fine, except;
I would have it on the field and it would spontaneously shut down.
It could be re-started with the radio and it would run for a while, then do it again, to be re-started.......repeat several more times.

Well, I just finished running the same green Panther in the basement tonight. "at idle" for 25 minutes. It ran just fine, there were no problems. This is good, but
Then there is the "run straight over the entire speed range problem", that has developed with some of mine.
I thought my KT, "Anneliese" developed this problem, at the 2nd last meet but it turns out an improper adjustetment on the right Henntech tensioner caused a thrown track, which caused binding
I have had the problem, but not this time.

No, if it is the problem where it can be trimmed to run straight at either high or slow speed, calibration does not fix it, in my experience.

SLU is still working on tank sound module, Just they stopped distribution our of China. As you see in the video posted by Airbrushler, they work out a new module that fit for Leo2A6, as well as for other modern tank in coming future.
I watch the operation video few months ago as I have some discussion with SLU. we dealing the distribution since half years. hope their tank modules will list on my store soon.

Hi Guys,
As still under discussion. We cannot 100% say that DKLMRC will carry out their products at this moment. If I successful to get the distribution rights from SLU. I will let you all knows.
Thanks
