I see that on the weather radar. It appears to be moving off from this area (10 km drive from the field). Things have been wetted down a bit here, but not enough to show in my fancy, electronic rain gage. The ground has been solid and dry for a couple weeks, here, it should be in good shape, tomorrow _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Here is the weather down here for tomorrow;
Mostly sunny, with a high near 61. Light and variable wind.
The rain has been light and things are drying up.
I will not be able to be there until around noon (this is the first time for this, as I recall) but Wayne has the key and trailer crank so things will be good to go first thing.
See everyone around noon.

Nope, she was my oldest daughter! I want to thank the club for welcoming her, hopefully she wasn't too much trouble. She went thought the whole gamut of firsts for newbies. Lost a track, fix the track, roll the the tank, put a tank into the ditch, and losing tank parts. All she needs now is for her electronics to burn out and strip a gear and she'll be a veteran tanker like the rest of us. But she had a great time, and wants to come again. ..... oh, and she want to get another tank. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| If I could paraphrase Mark Twain " The reports of my victory are greatly exaggerated ".It seems that my Stug victory on the battle field was not so much about strategy rather a result of having my Stug /Clark board at factory default settings. Little damage speed reduction , number of hits etc. After the gloating was done ( sorry Derek and Wayne ) Jordon was able to program the settings to match his stug. I have to say that even the momentary victory tasted great and my Stug ( with the correct settings ) will be coming out swinging next battle day. Perhaps another example to have tanks checked so the battle playing field is maybe not even but fair. |

| Glad to have you!! Remember to ask lots of questions... there are many different things you can concentrate on in this particular hobby. You can be an expert painter, modeler, or a wiz with electronics and lights, servos or scratch building. We have lots of people able to help all over.
Also remember to ask and read as much as you can before you buy! Some tanks run great as is, some benefit from a few simple and usually cheap(ISH) modifications.
In any case.. have fun! Enjoy your models!! _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

It seems that my Stug victory on the battle field was not so much about strategy rather a result of having my Stug /Clark board at factory default settings. Little damage speed reduction , number of hits etc. That would explain a few things My Stug III has the early DBC and it is a "one hit wonder" i.e., virtually immobile and almost unable to pivot to aim. After fielding it a couple times in the 2011, it has been withdrawn and unfortunately only serves as a test target for the SLU and Clark equipped tanks With the newer electronics and shielded front receiver, even with the correct damage setting, I think they should be a lot more fun to use than mine _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Thanks Yaxx for those great shots of the member tanks . We also had some excellent coverage and publicity from the VBS, (the largest Vietnamese broadcaster in North America) who’s camera crew came to see our club. They posted the report on their web site and also on You Tube at the following address. Ian was interviewed as our rep. Thanks to Hach Nguyen and his crew. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Wd954rksOc |
